Minister Katy Gallagher to Attend Pioneering Return-to-Work Event Connecting Parents with Employers

Perth, Australia – Monday 20th May – The Honourable Katy Gallagher, Minister for Finance, Women and the Public Service, is set to attend and support a groundbreaking return-to-work event designed to bridge the gap between parents seeking to re-enter the workforce and employers looking to hire talented local parents. This inaugural event, titled Reignite and Reconnect, will take place on Wednesday, 22nd May at Scarborough Community Hub, showcasing an innovative approach to workforce reintegration.

 

Minister Gallagher's attendance highlights the Australian Government’s commitment to supporting parents, particularly mothers, who face unique challenges when returning to the workforce after a career break. The event will provide a platform for parents to engage directly with potential employers, attend workshops, and access resources tailored to ease their transition back into professional life.
